Miami Carnival: Lights, Palm Trees, Action!

Get ready for Miami Carnival! This is the final major Caribbean American Carnival for the year. The “Las Lap” so to speak. During Columbus Day weekend, West Indian culture will have Miami on fire. Beaches by day, fetes by night. It will be nonstop action leading up to Carnival day on Sunday, October 10, 2010 at Sun Life Stadium where masqueraders will be adorned in exquisite costumes. This is where you will hear all the 2010 soca hits, and some new tunes that might become hits for 2011.

So gather your crew, order your Carnival Essence masks, and join the festivities. As Rootsman said in his soca hit Miami Vibes, “In Miami! When you miss me, I’ll be there!” And I hope to see you there too.
